Are You Willing To Become A Spiritual Entrepreneur?

Spiritual Network Marketing

Leaving The Shore

When I first started my home based business, I was looking for a way to make some extra income and I thought maybe I could learn how to make a full-time income so I could stay at home with my 8 year old son.  That was it!  That was my entire reason why I began looking for a home business in 1995.  What I didn’t realize was that I hadleft the shore (my employee life), never to return, and I would begin “the most incredible journey of my life(my entrepreneurial life)!  I was now sailing in a huge ocean with a “ship” I barely knew how to sail.  And I was now the captain of my life.  I could choose to go anywhere, anytime, and if I learned how to “set my sail“, I could travel to lands I used to only dream of as a child.

Learning To Set My Sail

So what does that all mean?  Well, I started learning skills which I never got taught in school.  I started learning foundational principles which all successful people followed, but I never heard of them before.  Once I joined my home based network marketing business, I had people around me who thought I could become “More Than I Thought I Was” and they all told me so!  They all were strangers to me and yet they all supported and believed in me!  It was quite “overwhelming”, however, I knew it “Felt Good”!! 😮  Then I started to hear things from World Renown Philosopher Jim Rohn who said “Don’t Wish It Was Easier, Wish You Were Better“, “If You Want To Have More, You Have To Become More“.  Wow, so I began a personal growth plan and I have been working on getting a little bit better everyday of my life!

Spiritual Entrepreneurship

As I studied every book, every audio, every video I could find, I started to see similarities in all of the teachings.  And then I started to see similarities with spiritual teachings too.  Very old teachings in different countries dating back centuries began to “sing” the same message to me.  I also started to see the similarities being proven by science!  Could one of the keys to home business success really be to become a spiritual entrepreneur?

Celestine Prophecy

Fortunately, I read a book called “Celestine Prophecy” back in the 90s and in 2006, James Redfield created “The Celestine Prophecy Movie”.  Once I saw the movie, it really helped me put all the pieces of the huge puzzle in my mind together.  Thank you James Redfield for your wonderful book and movie!  So here’s the Celestine Prophecy trailer which will introduce the movie to you, and then please watch the next video which goes through the Celestine Prophecy Insights.  These insights blew me away because you can see all of these insights coming true today, however, the book was written in the 80s or early 90s!  Enjoy…

Doesn’t that give you “goosebumps”? 😯   By the way, if you want to know the difference between the employee life (the shore) and the entrepreneurial life (the beautiful ocean), sign up for my free Entrepreneurial Training below and I’ll tell you why they are so different and the beliefs you must change to become a successful entrepreneur.

Great post Kellie! A friend gave me a copy of The Celestine Prophecy when I was 20 years old and it put me on a Spiritual Journey that ultimately led me to becoming a ‘Spiritual Entrepreneur’. You have helped me grow and become a better person and for that I am forever and continuously grateful. Mahalo! 🙂

  2. kellie Says:

Mahalo (thank you) Lisa! I am so happy we have contributed to your becoming a better person. As Jim Rohn says “the greatest gift is to be included in someone’s testimonial of success”.

  3. Shannon Tecson Says:

    Wow Kellie,
Thank you for this post about becoming a “spiritual” entrepreneur. I would not consider myself to be religious meaning attending church or studying any type of religion, however, I do consider myself to be very spiritual in a sense that I am almost completely “drawn” to such books and teachers that develop this spiritual aspect of my life. Like you say here, it is all the same. I am discovering or remembering if you will, that we are all connected, spiritual teachers all say and live the same thing. As I am becoming more connected to the “bigger” part of me the bigger part that is in all of us, I am finding myself use the term “God” alot. I am feeling a little uncomfortable, speaking of such a powerful force in my life only because the word “God” has been tossed around much, and not really taken into consideration the meaning and power behind all things. I am wondering if we are already living in a an age, where we can speak of such higher powers without sounding like I’m preaching. I hear alot of people “preaching” about God or the Christ, but the external world of their lives in the way I see it is far from what they are preaching. I desire to live out from integrity even if my higher power is the one working behind the scenes and be good with that. What is your opinion on what I am saying here?

    Thanks a bunch Kellie!
    Shannon

  4. Kellie Hosaka Says:

    Aloha Lisa & Shannon,
Thank you for your comments! It brings me great joy to see you on my blog!

    Shannon,
There’s really no right or wrong answer in my humble opinion. Each one of us sees and feels things from our own perspective. My mentor once told me “Kellie, people see things as They Are, not as they….are.” It’s really gets into quantum physics and understanding that everything we see is just energy waves which we interpret and decide to become “form” which really doesn’t exit for anyone else except you. As Dr. Fred Alan Wolf says “Quantum Physics is even more weird than the human mind can imagine”.
So, I guess what I’m saying is whatever feels good to you Shannon, means you are moving in the right direction for you. Although, it may not be the right direction for another person. We all have our “callings” in life, which will lead each of us to our ultimate mission and journey. As Abraham would say “if it feels good, you are in the vortex, if not, you popped out”.
    Thanks for asking,
    Kellie 🙂

  5. Shannon Tecson Says:

    Thanks Kellie,
Yes, it feels good. What I’m doing now is all good. And everyday I am being more inspired, in-tuned if you will.

Thank you for giving your perspective.

    Make it a great day!
    Shannon

Thank you Kellie for sharing this. As someone who grew distant from the faith that I was raised with and struggled with being the obedient child, the Celestine Prophecy spoke to me more than any sermon could ever preach. To find our purpose and mission in life, to seek happiness and joy, to find the good in others and heaven on earth, to find love and peace within ourselves so that we can share that experience with those around us starting with our children, is my ultimate goal as a parent and spiritual being. Becoming a spiritual entrepreneur, living from my higher self as Wayne Dyer would say, is something that I strive for even more so today. Funny you bring this up as one of my personal goals is to have more spiritual abundance and connection in my life. I had turned my back on the spiritual side as I left home and struck out on my own. I now see myself seeking out my spiritual self again as I learn to give up the ego and ask for help from a higher power than my imperfect self. I am a spiritual being in a physical body, not the other way around. Spiritual entrepreneur…I reasonate with this.

  7. kellie Says:

    Debra,
So happy to see you on our blog! Yes, I can totally relate to what you are saying as being the obedient child, until it doesn’t quite feel right as as an adult. I am glad the movie spoke to you, it certainly woke a part of me up when I read the book and then especially when I saw the movie.
You are on your way Debra. The first step is recognizing it. 😉

  8. Annette Morris Keane Says:

Hi Kellie! The Celestine Prophecy is what started me off on my Spiritual Journey and I am forever thankful for that. I love that the movie has been made (I only saw it last year!) because I have learned that people have many differnet ways of learning – some are visal – some auditory etc. I think it is important that teachers and mentors are aware of the diffenrent styles of learning as I’m sure many of have the experience of or know someone who has had the experience of being seen as “not intelligent” in school or workplace because the don’t fit into the mainstream style of learning. You are son conscious of this Kellie – and I love this thankyou!
Shannon – I love how you say “MAKE IT a great day” (as opposed to “Hope you have a great day) in many of your online posts gently reminding us all that the kind of day we have is created by US. I needed that today – so THANK YOU!
There are so many people struggling to intellectually understand this unseen force/power that we are all aware of (i.e. GOD, TRUTH, LOVE, SPIRIT SOURCE ETC) but find it difficult to explain with words that never really measure up. That is how I see Religion – an attempt to understand this beautiful power on an intellectual level – otherwise its scares us because it if we don’t understand it – it is UNKNOWN. We all know how scary the unknown is. I find it easier to accept that my mind will never understand the power of WHO WE REALLY ARE as our spirits are free and not meant to be put into boxes of words or concepts – rather it FEELS better for me to FEEL who I and others really are – leaving out the physical or intellectual “evidence” When I do this i always come round to seeing myself in everyone else – which tells me that we are all TRUELY ONE.
I just realised what a “rant” my post is – I hope it makes sense to more than just me! 😉
Thankyou Kellie – every day you are an inspiration!

  9. kellie Says:

    Annette,

You are such a joy! 😛 I knew you would love that movie too! So very synchronistic, as expected.

And yes, it all definitely makes sense. The key is how you feel and how you inspire others to feel!

    Mahalo for sharing 😉

  10. Shannon Tecson Says:

    Dear Annette,
That is the most beautiful way and so eloquently put into words what I am attempting to describe. Perhaps I’m challenged to describe the force because I am “intellectually” wanting to put it into words. That is so amazing!
Thank you for giving much on this topic!

    Love you much,
    Shannon

  15. jacqueline jones Says:

Reading the “celestine prophecy” was literally life changing for me. Though the book is fiction, the insights rang true with something inside of me that recognized them as truths. I began applying the philosophy to life. A whole new world started becoming apparent to me. this brought me much happiness. so here’s what happened when this started taking place. I was bartending at a hotel at the time. It was a day just like any other, but this was one of the quieter days. No one was around, until this elderly man appeared with a woman. The woman was seated out at one of the tables, the gentleman approached me at the bar. He commented on how happy I appeared to be. I confirmed his observation to be the case. He asked “what is causing you to be so happy?” I then told him that I was currently reading “the celestine prophecies” and applying the principals to real life and in turn I was much happier. He said, from what seemed to be a place of KNOWING, not speculation, “You’re on the right track”. He asked me if I believe in Jesus. I said yes. However I’m under the impression that my belief in Jesus was relevant as a higher power for me, and it is the belief in that which is higher than ourselves that is the real point here. when I answered yes he smiled. Shortly afterwards, he said “No matter what happens, everything is going to be alright.” Again from a place of KNOWING. I, being a mother of two, said “please, just don’t let anything happen to my daughters!” He smiled again. Shortly afterward he was seated with the woman. He then asked me if I could believe he was an angel for 15 seconds. I said yes. He said “can I call you daughter?” something in me told me to say yes, he does’nt mean biological. so I said ok. He then told me to look into his eyes. So I did. Suddenly we were in that “space” together, but without our bodies. That space is harldly explainable. It’s not like anything in our world as we know it. I know that space was higher consciousness. And he and I were one in this space. And it was pure and good. I really can’t put it in to words that can even begin to touch this experience. The best description is endless light and awareness without thought. And there you have it!

  16. kellie Says:

Very cool Jacqueline! Thank you for sharing. What a great and enlightening experience you had. I am sure your life has never been the same since! Looking forward to seeing you on our other posts. Aloha 😉

Aloha Kellie, very nice post and video clip. I believe our spiritual being has a lot to do with ourselves if we pay more attention to it, rather than the focusing only on the outer part of us. The surface only gives us the first layer but if we seek for a deeper insight within us then we will find our true self to make us complete and untouchable. Mahalo, Lani 🙂
