Change Your Perspective, Change Your Life

What If Everything Was The Opposite Of What You Thought?

Look at the video below.  Is the lady moving her foot to the right or to the left?  Look closely, what do you see?

Interesting huh?  Some people say if you see her foot moving to the right, then you are dominantly “right brained” (creative, intuitive) and if you see her foot moving to the left, then you are dominantly “left brained” (logical, analytical).

Do You See A Young Lady Or A Old Lady?

Change Your Perspective Young lady or Old lady in the picture to the left?  Or can you see both?  Pretty cool huh?

We would have to agree there are many different ways to look at things.  And when we are shown another way to see something, all of a sudden we are able to see a young lady and then shift our focus to see an old lady too!  What if everything in life is the same way?  What if everything you currently think is one way is actually another way?  What if the thing you are seeing as a “challenge” is actually a “blessing”?  Hmmm  🙄

When You Change The Way You Look At Things

Wayne Dyer says “when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change“.  When I was an employee working at a job, I thought that was my only option, so I only saw things with an “employee” perspective.  I thought I had to work a job and “play it safe”.  When I started my home based business, I started to see things with an “entrepreneurial” perspective.  You could say I used to see the old lady and accepted that this was my destiny, however, I discovered I could see the “young lady” instead, and have freedom by changing my perspective!  Life is a gift to enjoy, to be free and to have fun!

Science Proves You Can Change What You Perceive

According to Dr. Joe Dispenza from “What The Bleep Do We Know“, our brain processes 400 billion bits of information per second, but we, human beings, are only aware of 2,000 bits of information.  We are living in a world where all we see is the “tip” of the iceberg.  If our brain is processing 400 billion bits of information and our awareness is only on 2,000 bits, that means reality is in our brain, but we haven’t integrated it.  So what does all that mean? It means we are seeing and perceiving only 0.000000005 of reality!!  We are only seeing a “dot” of what really exists.  😯

Watch this clip from the movie “What The Bleep Do We Know:

What Does That All Mean For Us?

We only see what we believe is possible. We are matching patterns which we are familiar with through conditioning.  Quantum physics has proven we can only see 2,000 bits at a time, however, we can change which 2,000 bits we choose to focus on.  Just like the lady swinging her leg to the right or left depending on how we focus.  And being able to see the old lady or the young lady depending on what we focus on!  Therefore, we can choose to focus on a new 2,000 bits of information at anytime and change our life! 😆   To understand how “The Secret” works with Quantum Physics, click on our post “The Law Of Attraction & Quantum Physics“.

Ok, I saw the girl’s foot going to the right – therefore creative and intuitive, which is correct – and then I saw BOTH the old and young lady almost simultaneously.

Aloha Kellie, whew…. you’re getting deep here and tapping in to the source of the core.. Lol I enjoyed the concept and the way the brain do maneuver in what it perceive to demand or control the dominant side of its brain. The first picture I could see the foot going right and then second picture the old woman and it took some time to see the young woman. I was determined to see her and told myself I would and I did. Gotta luv the brain for its persistence. Glad I came by and thanks for sharing! Mahalo, Lani 😉

You know the first time i saw this picture some years ago I saw the old lady right away. I didn’t see the young girl until I was told she was there. Now see the young girl easily and have to focus real hard to see the old lady. Things have change, my focus has shifted somehow. I certainly look forward to your posts. Thanks

you’re right, this IS a fun post kellie! 🙂

i saw the lady move to the right, and gosh i tried so hard to see it move to the left but just coulodln’t get focused on that… not sure what that says about me other than i am the “creative” type for sure!

and i haven’t revisited “what the bleep” in years… thanks for posting that video too. i love the analogy o the native amaericans that never saw the clipper ships because they didn’t register in their brain since they didn’t know what they were. kinda like believining that we too can be successful in our business. it takes the “chief” telling us that we can be successful before we believe it ourselves!

I love “What The Bleep”! It’s one of my favorite movies cause it opened up a whole new world for me. And yes it does take the “chief” to help us see further than we can see. Thank you for your kind comments 🙂
