Entrepreneurial Revolution According To Seth Godin

Seth GodinAre You An Entrepreneur?

Or are you thinking of becoming one?   🙄  I remember how it felt being an employee and yet wanting the freedom of being an entrepreneur.  I listened to my heart in 1995, and I feel very blessed to have learned how to be a home business owner.

Goodbye Industrial Age, Hello Entrepreneurial Revolution

Seth Godin, author of Linchpin, says “Our Economy now, is revolving around individuals who do work that matters and people who choose to make a difference“.   According to Seth, in the Industrial Age, it was a race to bottom, to produce things fast and cheap.  Today, there is a race to the top, people who will do work that really matters and that makes a difference. Entrepreneurs and small business owners are the best qualified to do this because they are close to the customer, and they still care.

The New Challenge Of An Entrepreneur

It isn’t the risk of losing a lot of money anymore.  Seth says it’s the emotional risk of appearing foolish. 😆   Also, there is no “rule book” for real growth.  He explains that the ones who will be willing to put in the work and be creative, will monetize.  This reminds me of Jim Rohn saying “We Get Paid For Bringing Value To The Marketplace“.

An Exciting Time Of Changes And Opportunity

I believe this is a very pivotal time in human history, and there are a lot of new opportunities available for anyone who is willing to learn and change during these times.  “In a time of drastic change it is the learners who inherit the future. The learned usually find themselves equipped to live in a world that no longer exists.“ –Eric Hoffer

    Hi Kellie,

I believe Seth is absolutely correct. Finally we are coming back to what it should have been about all along “people” and not money.

Money is nice but the reward of helping others is finally meaning more to so many.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Kellie,

Thanks for sharing Seth’s video, he is “barking up our tree”. This fits Herbalifers so well, it is true that our clients know we care about them, they are like our family.

Being passionate about our products will help all of us to share wherever we are in our community. Leon Weisbein says to work in the 2 miles radius of your home. Good advice.

I love to be reminded why we chose to be an entrepreneur. We have to be confident in offering our products and services. Navigating without a map can be a little scary but by keeping your ship lined up towards the “light house” (goals)…you will get there.

    Thanks Kellie 😉
