The Greatest Gift You Can Give To Yourself

Are You Stressed During The Holidays?

How are you feeling during this time of year?  Are you stressed out because there are only a few shopping days left before Christmas?  Are you thinking, I can’t believe it’s the end of this year?  Are you worried about the future?

Take Time For Yourself

I am seeing and feeling very interesting emotions occurring during this holiday season as the past year comes to an end.  Many changes have taken place this year and they are causing our emotions to feel “out of control”. 😯  There are many reasons why we are feeling this way, however, I would like to encourage you to take some time for yourself and just “quiet your mind”.  I know what your saying “Kellie, are you crazy?  I have so much to do!”  And believe me, I do know, however, aren’t the holidays suppose to be a time to enjoy and be with the family and friends who you love? 😮

What Does The Holidays Mean To You?

Please take the time and ask yourself what the meaning of Christmas and the Holidays is to you?  What’s the reason we celebrate this joyous occasion? Sometimes the commercialization of a holiday tends to overshadow the meaning behind why it became a holiday to begin with.

After I left my job, I realized I missed the true meaning of Christmas and missed cherishing the time with family and friends who I love.  As the years go by, I started to realize that next year, some of my family and friends may not be here for the next holiday and I really started to cherish “the now” time with everyone I am with.  I share this with you because we have lost very close friends unexpectedly who were very young in age.

During this holiday season please take time for yourself, and the ones you love dearly.  You are a very special person and you are loved much more than you will ever know. Give love and allow yourself to receive love.  This will be the greatest gift you can give to yourself.  I would like to share a very special video with you and I hope you will take a couple of minutes to watch it.

How do you feel after watching that special video?  I felt so special when I received this video for the first time and I realized it was true.  There’s a saying which goes “Yesterday’s history, Tomorrow’s a mystery, Today’s the only gift, that’s why they call it ‘The Present’ .  So cherish this wonderful season and give yourself the greatest gift ever!

I would love to hear how you are feeling during this time of year and how you responded to the video, in the comments below.  May we ask you to click the “f share” button at the top of the article, to share on Facebook or “retweet” this on Twitter?

Also, if you’d like to learn tips and secrets I’ve used over the past 16 years, sign up for our video series below.

Sending you a lot of “Aloha” (love) & “Mahalo” (thank you) for being a part of our “Ohana” (family)!  Happy Holidays!

    Oh Kellie,
What a beautiful video. Not at all what I expected. 🙂

Being present in the moment and cherishing those around us is so important. That message gets lost within the hustle and bustle masking the true meaning of this season. Thank you for bringing us back to center.

We each have an amazing amount of talent and love to give to the world. Realizing our specialness is the most important thing we could do, for when we realize our self-worth we can do the most for others.

Thanks for sharing and have a powerful day!

Aloha Kellie, what a great message and inspirational. I think most of us, take advantage of the thought, time is on our side, so we use it extravagantly. But only the ones who recognize it for what it is, precious, love, joy and bonding with others, who we love, respect and appreciate. We are blessed to share the message, in hope that others are ready to hear it and willing to accept it, for themselves. I appreciate your valuable message and reaching out to others by sharing your personal experiences. Glad I came by and Happy Holidays! Lanikee.com 🙂

I too had a feeling that child was me! 😉 Such a beautiful message, Kellie. Give love and allow yourself to receive love…that sums it up nicely for me. I too have lost several close friends and family members at far too young ages ~ and because of that I never take my relationships for granted.

The holidays are a magical time, and it is only sad to me that the joy, gratitude, peace and love that is so abundant at this time seems to dissipate so quickly into the new year. Not with everyone of course….I know I can always count on you to shine your light all year long! Thanks again for sharing this uplifting post!

Yes, this video is the truth. Everyone should know the reason that we are made in the image of God and therefore are co-creators of our lives.

Anything is possible within this child!!

    Thank you for sharing this

  15. Richard Goutal Says:

When you are not so sure about that “special child” you might want to try an exercise when you “take some time for yourself”: List all of the things you have actually accomplished. (Ignore for now what you wish you had done. Just list everything you were able to do for your business or for others in your sphere this year.) Focus on it. Maybe even brag about it. Something I picked up this week from Connie Ragen Green.
