Would You Like Faster Results?
One of the key principles I learned over the years has been to FOCUS. Focus on what I really wanted. 😎
What Do You Really Want?
One of the first things I had to decide was “what did I really want?”, and it wasn’t what I thought I could have, it was “what did I really want deep down inside“. If I couldn’t lose, what would I really go for? 🙄 It’s funny, cause when I really dug deep into my heart, I knew what I really wanted. I was just too scared to “go for it”. 😯 Once I realized what my “Deepest Fear” was, I was then able to commit to focusing on my goal.
F.O.C.U.S.
Now that I knew what I wanted, it was time to Focus. Follow One Course Until Successful! I remember that acronym for Focus and it really kept me focused. I decided on my course of action, and I followed it Until I was successful. I use this strategy whenever I decide on a new goal. I tell myself “Just FOCUS Kellie”! 😯
Here’s our video on the Power of Focus:
Simple Steps To Focus On A Productive Day
1. Decide on your Goal (click for additional post)
2. Create a “Plan of Action” (click for additional post)
3. Take 5 minutes in the beginning of your day to create your intention for today. Be specific. (I.e. Create $200 in sales today.)
4. Use a day planner and plan out each hour of your day to meet your “plan of action” in step 2.
5. Follow your planner and do not deviate.
6. Follow these 5 steps everyday and you will achieve your goal. FOCUS – Follow One Course Until Successful.
Pretty simple right? Is this something you feel you can follow? I’d love to hear what you feel in the comments below. And may we ask you to click the “f share” button at the top of the article, to share on Facebook or “retweet” this on Twitter?

Oh my gosh Kellie,
I absolutely love this post! As my mentor (you) have taught me these steps precisely over the course of my years.
By “focusing” I’ve been able to co-create “exactly” what I’ve focused on.
I love the acronym for F.O.C.U.S, that you shared “Follow Ones Course Until Successful.”
I believe in the power of focus. It takes courage to believe that focus can work for anyone and everyone.
Thank you for sharing a great post!

What a great day to watch this as I set meaningful time to get my things in order. I do some of these things, such as writing down my goals, etc. but I think the challenging part is actually following through on them. I like what you said about planning each hour of your day, because sometimes I do plan out what I want to get done in my day, and I put some much that realistically I can’t do it all in one day (and sometimes thats ok). But when I don’t finish everything on my list, I get a little discouraged and fall behind. So it makes sense to plan each hour instead of making a whole list that I can’t get through all at one time.
Thanks for sharing all your wisdom! 🙂

Loved your video and post Kellie! I especially liked when you remind us of the importance of “one a day” to keep our focus on that particular action for each day and then as we succeed, progressively increase. With so many things and opportunities coming our way each day is easy to get distracted. Your acronym is easy to remember. I will keep a visible reminder of it to help me stay “on track” of what I have chosen to do each day, such as finishing up my tax records today to turn over to my accountant!!!! Thanks for,the real, effective advise and so nice to see you in the video. You are beautiful and awesome!

Kellie – wonderful post and I love what FOCUS stands for – YOU were my greatest teacher today – thank you!
I also love the word equanimity – Deepak Chopra taught me that word – a balance between mental and physical – a calm.
So to reach our goals we must focus and stay calm….

Thank you for your comments and I am so glad I was your teacher today! And yes, I love Deepak Chopra, he taught me the science of synchronicity and how everything doesn’t just happen, everything happens just!

Aloha Kellie, I think you hit the nail on the head, with a this topic focus. Because most of us get off line and I am guilty at times of this. I appreciate the reminder on your post and your video.
In fact, I am currently assisting family folks with their business and I have notice that they have a pattern of success and defeat. And most of it comes from what is their main focus on their business and I don’t see it. But I do my best giving them some positive feedback and believe me as the expression says, “You can lead the horse to the water, but you can’t make it drink” follows with truth. The final result they decided was to shut it down and unfortunately, this is their 4 business they are closing.
I have learned that focus is a primary factor besides all the other important valuable principles in business. Mahalo for sharing! Lani 🙂

Wow, thank you for sharing your family story. I am sure that a window of opportunity will arise from this door being closed. All I know is that you have such a good heart and everyone’s journey is their journey. The key is that you feel good and that you are following your heart. And I believe you are, my friend.
Thank you for dropping by! Much love & aloha 😉

Aloha Kellie,
FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS…Lots of amazing things happen when I do this. Even in the midst of challenge like Hokulani wanting my attention in the midst of a training call or presentation. It keeps the mind in tuned to be able to overcome the obstacle and complete the task at hand. Also, goes with your other video on time management in which you say, Wherever you are…be there. Also, writing things out just that simple concept and doing it is helping me to move towards my goal and those gauge sheets. Amazing what is revealed to you when you keep these gauges.
I appreciate you, Stanlynne

Hi Kellie, I really like you post today. You told me on our conversation the other day how you plan every hours of your day. I thought about that and although I am not planning so tightly…I feel that i am a lot more focused now then I was 6 months ago. I tend to deviate a little once in a while. Your video and post is a great reminder! Thanks Kellie ~ Nathalie

Thank you so much 🙂 That means a lot to me! I am glad you are feeling more focused. I actually think you already are because you get so much accomplished in a 24 hr period. You are just so multi-talented and you do so well in so many things. Congratulations on your success! Aloha 🙂

Kellie dear, I’d never heard this acronym for Focus but it’s brilliant and I intend to steal it unashamedly.
I always fancied myself as a stellar multi-tasker, but I’m finding more and more that it’s not the most productive practice.
Far better to Follow One Course Until Successful.
Thank you, brilliant one.
You never fail to inspire and teach me.
