Great Leaders Use Power Versus Force

Network Marketing Leaders Use Power vs. Force

Power versus Force?

Do you notice a huge shift in the way people are choosing to buy goods and services?  Have you noticed it is now in the consumer’s hands, and they want to “buy” from people and companies they like and trust.  This is a huge shift from the television commercials and the big billboards “forcing” a message into our subconscious mind which basically programed us to buy! 😯

Dr. David Hawkins

Have you heard of the book “Power vs. Force” by Dr. David Hawkins?  I read it many years ago when Wayne Dyer recommended it at one of his seminars. It’s a book about knowing the absolute truth of everything with the use of kinesiology (muscle testing).  Dr. Hawkins said every person and thing can be calibrated according to people’s vibratory energy.  He says that great leaders operate using power and they calibrate at very high levels of vibratory energy. To quote Dr. Hawkins “Power gives life and energy; force takes these away”.

Social Media and Power

As I saw the changes in the world with social media and Web 2.0, I realized the concept Dr. Hawkins talked about in his book was beginning to take form in our world of business.  The Law of Attraction is basically in line with Dr. Hawkins’ concept of “power”.  Leaders who use “power”, influence and lead others because they are drawn to their high vibratory energy fields.  Everyone feels “happy” and their energy fields rise when they are influenced by power. “Force” reminds me of the Job, where we have to abide by a lot of rules and we are forced to “do as our boss” says.  If we don’t do as our boss says, we are fired.  This kind of influence is based on fear and has a low vibratory energy field.

Here’s a video on applying Power vs. Force in today’s world:

Are we living our life in a powerful way or are we living our life in a forceful way? Which way sounds more fun?   😆  We’d love to hear your answers in the comments below.  When you do what you love and you love what you do, everything else flows into your life with ease. 😀

I couldn’t agree more Kellie with your post on power versus force – I absolutely subscribe to this theory & believe this is the only way to be. I’m so impressed with muscle testing, in fact our family Dr using it to assist him in diagnosing, its being used in some areas of the healing arts with enormous success. Social media is another area where people are being drawn to the people they resonate with for sure, it magically eliminates all the old boundaries & gate keepers & creates an easy road to the source…., it sort of cuts out the middle man huh

Kellie, the concept of true power is one often misunderstood. The difference between power and force is huge, as you say.

I appreciate you bringing kinesiology into this. Because everything is energy and carries a vibration. What a great example!

    Thank you,
    Tricia.

I’ve read Hawkins’ book. A wonderful study into how less really is more. We can form attractive magnets that set up the life of our dreams if we can use our emotions effectively.

Thank you Kellie for this refresher course! I love how you’re bringing back those tools that have had a deep profound impact in my life and Power vs. Force has been one of those. Of course we have the finest leaders in our company who emulate this in exact detail. And what a great opportunity it is for us to “observe” exactly how this is demonstrated.

Thank you for the great message on power vs force. It is so true…..when someone tries to force something the natural instinct is to push back. Just leads to mud wrestling. Slippery, dirty and in the end it is hard to win.

    Keep up the great work!

    Jeff

    Aloha Kellie,

I am at the beginning of making the transition from employee to business owner. As I was watching your video, I thought of a manager I had had in the past, who had the instincts to use his “power”. Needless to say he was a well liked and respected manager. It was early in my career and the most memorable part of my career. Now, I work for a manager that uses “force”. Needless to say, that manager is one of the reasons for to look into being a business owner.

Great site. Please keep it up. Mahalo.
