Are You Comfortable Being Uncomfortable?

Highly Successful PeopleDid You Know Successful People Are Uncomfortable Most Of The Time?

I didn’t know this was a key characteristic of highly successful people.  Why would we want to be uncomfortable?   🙄

Why Are Roller Coaster Rides Popular?

Because we like adventure and we enjoy being “uncomfortable”!  It’s really fun!  😆  It is interesting isn’t it?  Have you ever watched a child with a new video game?  In the beginning, the child gets frustrated because the game is very challenging and it’s difficult (uncomfortable).  Once they start learning the game, it becomes comfortable and quite fun.  Then, when they beat the game and master it, they stop playing the video game.  Why?   🙄  Because the game got boring and it was too familiar (comfortable).   Then the child wants to buy a new video game, so he will be challenged once again!  That’s the key trait to success!   😛

    Hey Kellie,
You nailed it! When we get comfortable we also become complacent which is the death knell to business growth. Just like the silence of our phone. Thanks for your help yesterday. You are a great mentor.

I’ve never really thought of ‘discomfort’ this way, but once again, Kellie, you’ve given me something new to digest.

Life definitely begins outside your comfort zone, but it doesn’t have to be terrifying. Just un-comfortable.

    Here’s to an uncomfortable life!!

    Great post Kellie!
I love concept, analogy and story-telling. I’ve found that using these methods helps me to “remember” which in turns sticks. Makes total sense. I can visually create this experience through your blog about a child with a new game! I used to be a “gamer” too, so I can totally relate with game mastery.
    Thanks for sharing!

kellie!! this is such a valuable concept worth repeating over and over again… getting out of the comfort zone is PARAMOUNT to our success in MLM!

i’m so challenged and ‘uncomfortable’ right now as i balance business and baby. it’s frustrating, it’s hard, but everyday i’m growing.

and what you said about “it becomes FUN” is what i’m finally experiencing now that caitlin is getting older. it CAN be both challenging and FUN, uncomfortable and exciting… and it’s so much more FUN and rewarding when i achieve something that makes me a better leader, communicator, and mommy in the process.

aloha kellie… sending <3 to you!!

Hi Kellie, I used to hear this phrase over and over again when I started in Network marketing and although i could understand the concept of it, it took a while to relate to it.
I don’t think I was ready to hear such a strong message all these years back but now…it’s a whole different story!
You really explain it well and this was a great reminder that I feel uncomfortable most of the time..but I love me entrepreneurial journey… Awesome vlog!! ~ Nathalie
