How Are Your New Year’s Resolutions Going?
It’s late January, 2012, and if you are like most people, you haven’t really changed too much from your daily habits of 2011. 10 years ago, it wouldn’t matter too much, however, this year will be very different (in my opinion). 😕
Everything Around Us Is Changing
Ask yourself these questions:
1) Do you feel prices of food, gas, goods & services will be higher in 1 year?
2) Do you feel taxes will be higher in 1 year?
3) Do you feel that retirement, social security and other government programs will be around when you retire?
4) If you keep on doing what you are doing, will your current income rise as fast as the answers to the first 3 questions?
5) If not, now that you know where you will be in 1 year, wouldn’t it be better to make some changes Now? 😀
Here’s my questions for you:
Seth Godin’s Warning
Seth Godin says “People are raised on this idea that if they pay their taxes and do what they’re told, there’s some kind of safety net, or pension plan that’s waiting for them. But the days when people were able to get above average pay for average work are over.” He says to “take your career into your own hands“. I recently did a blog post on Seth Godin’s concept “The Forever Recession“ (click on the link) where we discuss the end of the Industrial Age.
How To Start Becoming An Entrepreneur
If you are not sure where or how to start to “Become Valuable To The Marketplace“, as Jim Rohn says, here are a few suggestions:
1) Sign up for my free videos series below which gives you the 8 beliefs you must change to become a successful entrepreneur,
2) Check out my 4 part blog post series which takes you step by step through your decision process (click here),

Great message in your post and video Kellie!
It sure makes you THINK about your future and your present status!
The question, “Where do you want to BE?” excite many people and at the same time it also scares many other, but
The idea is to forge ahead with a PLAN to get to that outcome and kick fear to the curb so that you avoid the ostrich mentality of ignoring what is in front of you and sticking your head in the sand.
Yes… get moving and into action with a plan in hand and by the end of the year you’ll bear a yummy harvest 🙂

I’m with Nathalie! Ready to STEP IN THE GAME!
More than take my career into my own hands, as Seth Godin so rightly says, I want to take my ECONOMY into my own hands.
And the only way to do that is by being an Entrepreneur.
You are so inspiring, Ms Kellie.
Thank you for leading the way *hugs*

Hey Kellie,
I agree with what you and Seith say.
I remember when Obama was elected, voters actually believed that everything is going to be just perfect from then on. Surprise, surprise. 🙂
Some think that the government is going to take care of them. LOL.
I have never in my life seen security in having a J.O.B.
Our responsibility to take care of ourselves and our loved one.Period.
All the excuses not to do so is plain B.S. ( excuse me for my language! )
love the post!
Thanks for the share!
