Are You Stuck In A Rut?
Do you feel like no matter how much you want to change, you still find yourself falling into the same rut? I know what you mean, I felt the same way many times. Even after I had achieved a certain amount of success in my home based network marketing business, I found myself “stuck” several times in my entrepreneurial career. 🙄
Our Minds Are Like A Computer
I finally found the answer once I understood how “Kellie” really worked. We are like a computer and our minds execute approximately 60,000 thoughts per day. The challenge is that most of our thoughts are automatically running, just like the software program on our computers. It executes according to the program which runs in our subconscious mind based on our habits. We are not consciously aware of most of our thoughts, so they just keep on executing the same way each day, like the software on our computer executes it’s programs the same way! 😯
Upgrade Our Mind’s Software
What do we do when we want to upgrade our software program on our computer? We install the new version of the program, right? Then the new program overwrites the old one and the old software program is erased forever! Therefore, what if we wanted to upgrade our 60,000 thoughts? Yes, we upgrade and erase the old programs! 🙂 Really! 😆 Here’s a video we created to help all of us see how this works:
Cool huh? We had this idea and my wonderful husband Glen made a visual for all of us to see. This video will assist us and replace some of our old programs with a new understanding of how to upgrade to new thoughts and a new understanding.
Tools To Upgrade Our Mind’s Software:
Other tools which we can use to upgrade our “mind’s software” are:
1) Start a Personal Growth plan and commit to it daily;
2) Use Daily Affirmations;
3) Create a vision board;
4) Place pictures, posters and reminders everywhere of what you want to create in your life;
5) Visualize daily.
We are re-programming our mind to “Be” and create our future reality, so we are overwriting the current “illusional reality” of what we are seeing. This takes constant and consistent effort because we are replacing some of the 60,000 thoughts daily. Everyday our old thought patterns will become less and our new thoughts will become dominant. Our blog post on Quantum Physics explains further why what we currently see as reality, is really just an illusion.
When Jim Rohn says “Work Harder On Yourself, Than You Do On Your Job“, this is what he meant.

Kellie, Thanks for the visual as well as the tools we can use to re-program our minds. Like Jim Rohn said, whenever I work harder on myself, than on my job, all areas of my life ‘flow’ and work together better.
This was a great blog post and I love the videos you do. (You look incredible too! Your skin is AMAZING!!)
Thanks for all that you do,

You know how much I struggled to do them…LOL 🙂 Thanks for the compliment on the skin…hmmm I wonderful where that comes from…could it be 15 1/2 years of good nutrition on the inside and on the outside?? I’ll let you decide that. Not bad for someone who is turning the 1/2 century in 14 days!!..LOL 🙂
Much love & gratitude 🙂

Kellie,
It is a process to change those old thoughts, but with the tools you have listed it makes it a lot easier. I have dream boards hanging in my house and my convenience store. I have affirmations written on my bathroom mirror, so I don’t forget to say them. But my wife wants me to clean the mirror now. LOL I guess I need to put them up in my office somewhere.
The video was great, and I love your analogy with computer software, too.

This is fantastic advice! These are all of the things I have used for the past 16 years to stay focused and pick myself up OUT of that rut.
Successful people have ruts, too. They just seldom talk about them and they keep focused!
Thanks Kellie!

Hi Kellie,
Because I consistently use the strategies that you suggest, I can affirm that all of them work amazingly well. The key is to be consistent. I love that you point out that those undesired parts will always be there in a smaller picture. The risk is that if the strategies that you point out aren’t used regularly, the small picture just might overtake the big picture that’s been created. Again, consistency is key! Great post, Kellie! Thanks 🙂

Oh Kellie I am in love with this subject. My primary business is called “Mind over Matter” because I learned a long time ago that this can be done. I am also a student of quantum physics. Awesome isn’t it?
I loved this video and seeing you shine. Kudos to your amazing husband with his talent also.
Yes, we will always have those old thoughts in our head, but when we practice and recognize “hey this is an old thought” we can over come it quickly. The more we work on ourselves, the more we do not let those old thoughts get in the way because we can identify it.
It takes dedication and practice. But as you say, it is not as difficult as many people think it is.
Thank you for this post. I enjoyed it so much.

I was wondering what you meant by a personal growth plan. In this post you mention tools, and number one is a plan. Your link to “plan” actually described more of what the words “personal growth” mean. Maybe there is another post about that? Or maybe you’d like to write one? ; – )

This is brilliant Kellie and so true! We will always be challenged by those “intrusive, little negative thoughts” but it is amazing how that shifts when you create the dream board, the dream book and read/listen to positive affirmations and such!
Surround yourself with as much positive energy as you can and watch your life change!
